A. Eugene & Bernice Hoeper Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to returning students in the Interpreter Preparation and American Sign Language & Deaf Culture programs with a minimum cumulative 3.2 program GPA and an overall cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Applicants must have successfully completed INTR 203/ASLS 203 - American Sign Language III, and be enrolled during the award semester. Preference will be given to an applicant who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Interpreter Preparation program director.

A.J. Guckert Memorial Scholarship

Established in the memory of A.J. Guckert. This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must submit a 500 word essay on assigned topic.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

AFCEA of Central Maryland Scholarship

The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) of Central Maryland Scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics degree major who is enrolled in 9 or more credits and has a minimum 3.0 GPA. The applicant must be a U.S. citizen who has completed 9 or more credits at CCBC.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Andrea Rodriguez Avila Memorial Scholarship

The Andera Rodriquez Avila Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Andrea, a 2023 CCBC graduate. Andrea was attending a university in Texas where she was killed at the beginning of the fall 2024 semester. The scholarship was established in her memory by Dr. Kurtinitis in conjunction with the CCBC Foundation, Inc.

This scholarship will be awarded in the spring to a first generation college student enrolled in at least 6 credits/billable hours in a degree seeking program. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA and be a member of Phi Theta Kappa and the CCBC Honors College. Priority will be given to an underserved population enrolled in Political Science curriculum.

Anne O. McLaughlin Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a new student with a minimum cumulative 2.0 high school GPA or a returning student with a minimum cumulative 2.0 CCBC GPA. Applicant must be enrolled in 6 or more credits seeking a degree in Education. Preference will be given to a student who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Anthony "Tony" Ianniello Scholarship Fund

This scholarship will be awarded to a returning CCBC student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA. Applicant must be a Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting & Design, or Construction Management major. Applicant must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Anthony Michael Fedi Scholarship

The Anthony Michael Fedi Endowment is awarded to students in a program of study relating to Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. In honor of Anthony Michael Fedi, a former CCBC student, the scholarship aims to support CCBC students who reside in the greater Dundalk area. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and be enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Ashton V. Fletcher, Jr. Scholarship in Music

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA Applicant must be have a declared major of Music. Preference will be given to an applied music student studying string or electric bass.

Baltimore County Licensed Beverage Association Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. Applicant must be a single parent demonstrating financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) who has completed 6 or more credits at CCBC.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Baltimore County Savings Bank Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student attending the CCBC Dundalk campus who is a Baltimore County resident. Applicant must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Bernard C. Ruck Sr. Mortuary Science Scholarship

Bequeathed to the CCBC Foundation from Mr. Ruck's will for the purpose of providing scholarships to students pursuing a degree in Mortuary Science. This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student who has been admitted into the Mortuary Science degree program with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Applicant must be enrolled in 6 or more credits at the CCBC Catonsville campus.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Mortuary Science faculty.

Betty Penski Memorial Scholarship

Established in memory of Mrs. Betty Penski. This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Applicant must be a recent graduate of Perry Hall High School. Preference will be given to student who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Brian Scott Bennett Scholarship

The Brian Scott Bennett Scholarship will be awarded to a student in a Cybersecurity program of study. Recipient must be enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Applicant must be a resident of Dundalk, Edgemere, or Sparrows Point.

Bridget McGrath Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a second year clinical Nursing student at the CCBC Catonsville campus with a minimum 2.75 GPA. Applicant must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and submit the required written statement. Scholarship funds will be applied to direct expenses only (i.e. tuition, fees, and book charges).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Bryan Healy Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours with a minimum 2.0 GPA, Applicant must be a men's lacrosse student athlete at the CCBC Essex campus.

Bufort Widenhouse Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Preference will be given to applicant who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Business Management Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Applicant must be a Business major. Preference will be given to student who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Candace Moffett Davis Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a returning student enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a Baltimore County resident who has successfully completed 12 or more credits at CCBC. Student must be a pursuing a degree or certificate in a Social & Behavioral Science. Recipient must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Career Development Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Catonsville campus with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to applicant who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Carol A. Kingsmore Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a Performing Arts major enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA. Preference will be given to a Music student.

Carol Eustis Memorial Scholarship Fund

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 3.0 CCBC GPA. Applicants must be admitted to a School of Health Professions degree or certificate program who demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Carole Drake Cascio Dance Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a CCBC student who is an active member of the CCBC Dance Company enrolled in 6 or more credits. Students must have earned a minimum of 6 credits at CCBC and a cumulative 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to an applicant who demonstrates financial need by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Applicants must submit a 1-minute video of class work form Ballet, Modern, or Jazz or a solo performance. Applicants must list previous dance experience with teacher and studio.

Award recipient will be selected by the Dance Program Coordinator

Catonsville Foundation Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Catonsville campus with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Catonsville Foundation General Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Catonsville campus with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Applicant must have completed 12 or more credits at CCBC and be enrolled in a degree program. Preference will be given to student who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

CCBC Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 12 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a Baltimore County resident who has completed 24 or more credits at CCBC, and demonstrate involvement in student activities and/or community service. Student with demonstrated financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will be given preference.

OR

Scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a Baltimore County resident who has completed 12 or more credits at CCBC, and demonstrate involvement in student activities and/or community service. Student with demonstrated financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will be given preference.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Alumni Association.

CCBC Alumni Association Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 12 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a Baltimore County resident who has completed 24 or more credits at CCBC and demonstrate involvement in student activities and/or community service. Student with demonstrated financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will be given preference.

OR

Scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a Baltimore County resident who has completed 12 or more credits at CCBC and demonstrate involvement in student activities and/or community service. Student with demonstrated financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will be given preference.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Alumni Association.

CCBC Alumni Transfer Scholarship

The CCBC Alumni Association Transfer Scholarship will be awarded to a student with a minimum cumulative 3.0 CCBC GPA. The student must have graduated with an Associate's degree or be earning an Associate's degree at the end of the current academic year, and be transferring to a public 4-year college or university.

Recipient(s) must demonstrate financial need in one of the following ways:

By filing the current academic year's FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) with the transfer institution or
By supplying a letter outlining personal circumstances contributing to their need or
By supplying documentation of an outstanding tuition/fee balance from their transfer institution

International students are also encouraged to apply.

The award will consist of $2,000.00 for up to two CCBC transfer students to be used towards tuition, books, and required fees, or room and board. Any other expenses are not eligible for scholarship funds. Recipient(s) will be selected by the CCBC Alumni Board in the spring semester, and the award will apply to the following fall semester at the transfer institution. The scholarship funds will be sent directly to the transfer institution or appropriate housing authority.

CCBC Bonnie & Neil Katz Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to applicant who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

CCBC Dental Hygiene Program Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student pursuing a Dental Hygiene degree who has been admitted into the Selective Admissions Allied Health degree program.

CCBC Elayne Hettleman Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the spring semester to a student who has a minimum cumulative 2.9 GPA and is enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours for the award semester. Applicant must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

CCBC Foundation General Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Applicant must have completed 12 or more credits at CCBC, and be enrolled in a degree program. Preference will be given to student who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

CCBC Foundation Roy P. Sachs Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Preference will be given to applicant who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

CCBC Jennie M. Pittinger Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a School of Liberal Arts Theatre or a School of Applied & Information Technology Art, Design & Interactive Media major pursuing a degree or certificate.

CCBC Julia & Gustav Michel Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a Maryland born student who has been accepted into the Nursing degree program at the CCBC Catonsville campus with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 to 3.5. Applicant must have successfully completed the Dosage for Nurses course, and taken all pre-requisite courses for the Nursing program at CCBC (with no repeated courses or grades of D).

CCBC Marvin J. Albinak Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Applicant must be a Nursing (admitted by School of Health Professions) or Chemistry major who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Student must be a Maryland resident.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Charles and Mary Lisa Langmeade Scholarship

The Charles and Mary Lisa Langmeade Scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Applicant must be a Baltimore City resident who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). This scholarship will be awarded to a credit or non-credit (Continuing Education) student pursuing a degree, certificate or workforce licensure.

Charles E. Kyle Scholarship

Established in the memory of Charles E. Kyle. This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Applicant must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Charles Willey Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Applicant must be a Baltimore County resident who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Charlotte Hudson Memorial Scholarship

Established in the memory of Charlotte Hudson. This scholarship will be awarded to a student admitted into the Nursing degree program at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA. Applicant must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Charlotte Wade Todesco Scholarship

Established in memory of Charlotte Wade Todesco. This scholarship will be awarded to a student in their second year of the Radiography degree program enrolled in 6 or more credits at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to applicant who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Chin and Nithianandam Technology Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student who is enrolled full-time in one of the following programs: Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Network Technology, Computer Science or Information Technology. Applicant must be a Maryland resident who has earned a minimum cumulative CCBC GPA of 3.0. Student must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

The award recipient will be expected to participate in three Women in Technology events and activities.

Church of the Ascension Wilson Point Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a new or returning degree seeking student with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Applicant must be a resident of zip code 21220 and demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Student must have a high school diploma or GED.

OR

This scholarship will be awarded to a resident of zip code 21220 who is a resident of Wilson Point. Applicant must be pursuing a Workforce Training Program through Continuing Education leading to a skill certificate.

Comprehensive Nursing Services Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Applicant must be admitted into the Practical Nursing certificate program or the Nursing degree program. Student must be a Baltimore County resident who has completed 12 or more credits at CCBC.

Award recipient will be selected by the Nursing department.

Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk Mortuary Science Endowment

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in at least 6 credit/billable hours Applicants must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Applicants will write a 300-400 word essay identifying why they need this scholarship and why they are pursuing Mortuary Science.

Dorothy Dinsmore DiMaio Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 to 9 credits at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a Baltimore County resident majoring in Math or Science who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Dorothy O'Rourke Sorgen Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must have completed 6 or more credits, and show superior ability for art and be currently enrolled in an Art related major. Student must be a Maryland resident who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Dorothy Zellhofer Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Applicant must be a Baltimore County resident who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Dottie Engle Assistance Fund

This scholarship will be awarded to a returning student who is enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Catonsville campus with a minimum cumulative 2.0 CCBC GPA. Applicant must be a single parent in a degree program who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Dr. Christine Gray Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a member of the CCBC Honors Program enrolled in 6 or more credits at the CCBC Catonsville campus. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 3.25 GPA and be enrolled in at least one honors course for the award semester.

Dr. Dennis E. Seymour Scholarship for Business, Criminal Justice or Law

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours with a declared major of Business, Criminal Justice Studies, or Legal Studies. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA, and demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Dr. Giles B. Cooke Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a Baltimore County resident majoring in Chemistry or Science who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Student must be a Maryland born resident who has already completed 24 credits at CCBC.

Dr. Sandra Kurtinitis Fine and Performing Arts Endowed Scholarship

The Sandra Kurtinitis, Ph.D. Endowed Scholarship for Performing Arts Student will be awarded to a Performing Arts student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum 3.0 CCBC GPA.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Drs. Flossie & Lathan Windley Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a Teacher Education student enrolled in 9 or more credits at CCBC. Recipient must have a minimum cumulative CCBC GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference will be given to student with financial need as demonstrated by filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Edna Clark Jones Endowed Scholarship

Established by Dr. Andrew Jones in memory of his mother. This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits at the CCBC Catonsville campus.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Edward E. Verdier III Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) or Computer Graphics major enrolled in 6 or more credits at the CCBC Catonsville campus. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA and have completed 12 or more credits at CCBC. Preference will be given to a student age 30 or older.

Eileen Miklosovich Scholarship

Established in memory of Eileen Miklosovich. This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Applicant must be a Baltimore County resident who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Eldred Coppage Tinder Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Dundalk campus with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Applicant must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and be community service oriented.

Emory A. and Helvi M. Eckes Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a returning student accepted into one of the following degree or certificate Selective Admissions programs: Mental Health, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Radiography, Medical Laboratory Technology, or Radiation Therapy. Student must be enrolled in 6 or more credits for the award semester with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must have successfully completed 12 credits at CCBC, and reside in the greater Dundalk area (zip codes 21219 or 21222). Financial need must be demonstrated by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Erich & Margaret Riessler Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Applicant must be a Baltimore County resident who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Student must be a single parent.

Ernest & Cecilia Rossi Performing Arts Endowed Scholarship

The Ernest & Cecilia Rossi Performing Arts Endowed Scholarship will be awarded to a Performing Arts student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum 3.0 CCBC GPA. Applicant must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Essex - Middle River - White Marsh Chamber of Commerce Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a first year student enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus. Applicant must have a declared major within the School of Liberal Arts (Communication Studies, Dance, English, Fine & Performing Arts, Interpreter Preparation, Mass Communications, Music, Philosophy, Theatre, and World Languages). Student must have completed 12 or more credits at CCBC.

Henrietta Duterte Scholarship

In honor of Henrietta Duterte, the first female funeral homeowner in the United States, this scholarship will support CCBC students in the Mortuary Science Program. Ms. Duterte was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was one of 13 children born to John and Henrietta Smith Bowers, who were natives of Baltimore, MD. In 1858 after Ms. Duterte's husband's death, Henrietta took over his funeral home and conducted business under her own name. Henrietta used the success of her funeral business to fund organizations in the Black community, including aid societies for formerly enslaved people. Duterte was also an abolitionist, philanthropist, and activist. As an agent for the Underground Railroad, she would hide enslaved people in coffins and move them through the city, disguised as part of a funeral profession. Henrietta was committed to reforming both the funeral industry and society-at-large. It's her forward-thinking, community-minded principles that make her the ideal face of this scholarship for students in Mortuary Science.

This scholarship will be awarded in the spring to a student admitted into the Mortuary Science degree program with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Students must have completed Mortuary Science 101 with a C or better and be enrolled in 9 or more credits. Applicants must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Applicants will write a 300-400 word essay identifying why they need this scholarship and why they are pursuing Mortuary Science.

Henrietta Lacks Endowed Scholarship

The Henrietta Lacks Endowed Scholarship will be awarded to a STEM degree or certificate major who is enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Applicant must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Preference will be given to a Baltimore County resident who resides in the Turners Station area of the 21222 zip code.

Henrietta Lacks STEM Scholarship

The Henrietta Lacks STEM Scholarship will be awarded to a STEM degree or certificate major who is enrolled in 6 or more credits and has completed a minimum of 12 credit hours. Applicants must be Baltimore County residents with a minimum cumulative 3.2 GPA.

Honorable E. Farrell Maddox Scholarship

Established in the memory of Edward Farrell Maddox, Sr. This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Applicant must be a resident of zip code 21013, 21051, 21085, 21087, 21128, 21162, 21220, or 21221. Preference will be given to applicant who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Independent Mutual Fire Insurance Co. Business Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a Maryland resident enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Applicant must be a Business major who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Student must have graduated high school within the last two graduation years.

Introduction to Psychology Scholarship

The Introduction to Psychology Scholarship will offer the recipient a $250.00 award for the current semester, as well as the opportunity for up to an additional $500.00 at the point of graduation from CCBC and acceptance to a 4 year institution. The Introduction to Psychology Scholarship is intended to support a student planning to pursue a career in Psychology. The applicant must be currently majoring in the CCBC Associate of Arts degree in Humanities and Social Sciences with a Concentration in Psychology. Preference will be given to students with Maryland residency.

Applicant must have earned a letter grade of "A" in Introduction to Psychology at CCBC.
Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA at the time of application and be enrolled in courses that follow the CCBC Psychology transfer guidelines for an Associate of Arts in Humanities & Social Sciences.
Students must submit the required essay.

The student selected for this scholarship award will automatically be eligible for a second scholarship called the Catonsville Psychology "Completion Scholarship" once they are ready to graduate from CCBC, have successfully completed a CCBC Associate of Arts degree in Humanities and Social Sciences with a Concentration in Psychology, and have been accepted into a 4-year college/university with a declared major of Psychology. The student will not need to reapply for this second scholarship. The monetary award for the "Completion Scholarship" will depend on the student's cumulative GPA. at graduation from CCBC (up to $500.00).

J. Edward (Silent Joe) Balson Veteran's Award

The J. Edward (Silent Joe) Balson Veteran's Award will be awarded to a military veteran enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a Baltimore County resident working toward their first Associates degree. Student must demonstrate financial need by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Preference will be given to a Navy veteran.

Eligible applicants will be contacted to submit a 500-word, handwritten essay on the importance of public service as it relates to their chosen career goals.

Jaime Gregorio Alvarez Memorial Scholarship

The Jaime Gregorio Alvarez Memorial Scholarship was established to support Engineering-related programs within the School of Technology, Art, and Design.

Jake Audet Memorial Scholarship

The Jake Audet Memorial Scholarship was established in February of 2021 by his parents Michael and Beth Audet to honor his life and legacy after his untimely death. Jake was a student in CCBC's Associates of Applied Science Degree Automotive Program and anticipated graduating in August of 2021.

Recipients of this scholarship must be enrolled at CCBC for the academic year pursuing a degree or certificate program in one of CCBC's skills trade including automotive, construction, HVAC, welding, machine tools, commercial vehicle operation, etc. The student should write an essay in the application identifying why they need this scholarship and why they are pursuing the certificate or degree program.

James ""Jimbo"" Rife Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Applicant must be an Art or Music major with demonstrated financial need. Applicant must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Preference will be given to a student who resides in the Dundalk area.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Performing Arts faculty.

James C. Hartsock Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a Chemistry, Biology, Forensic Science, or Allied Health (admitted into a Selective Admissions program) major. Preference will be given to applicant with financial need as demonstrated by filing the FAFSA. Priority will be given to a military veteran.

James G. Steger Jr. Memorial Scholarship

Established in 1993 by the friends and family of James Steger. This scholarship will be awarded to a full-time CCBC student with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. Applicant must be a Computer Science, Mathematics, Math Education, or Engineering major who has completed at least one course in the degree program.

Janet Anne Walper Memorial Scholarship for Nursing

The Janet Anne Walper Memorial Scholarship for Nursing will be awarded for the academic year or semester to a student who is a Baltimore County resident with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be admitted into the Nursing degree program at the CCBC Essex campus. Preference will be given to a resident of the 21220 or 21221 zip code.

JCI Talent Pipeline Scholarship

The scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student with a minimum 2.8 CCBC or high school GPA. Applicants must be enrolled in 6 or more credits in one of the following CCBC degree or credit certificate programs: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning & Energy Technology (HVAC), Advanced HVAC and Energy Technology, Alternative Energy, Basic HVAC and Energy Technology, Building Automation Systems, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering. Student must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. Returning students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits at CCBC in the last three academic years.

Jeanne Jung and Al Bolz Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must have completed 6 or more credits at CCBC and be a resident of the greater Dundalk area. Preference will be given to graduates of Dundalk, Patapsco or Sparrows Point High School who aspire to attain a bachelor's degree. Award will be made to a student who is not receiving traditional financial assistance for tuition & fees (students who are eligible for the Federal Pell Grant are not eligible for this scholarship).

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Catonsville or Owings Mills campus with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA. Preference will be given to student over age of 25.

Kardash Scholarship

Established in the memory of the honorable Judge James Kardash. This scholarship will be awarded to a returning student who was enrolled full-time at the CCBC Essex campus for the fall 2024 semester and is now enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus. Applicant must be a Law or Criminal Justice Studies major with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA.

Kimbel Oelke Memorial Scholarship

Kramer Family Fund Scholarship

Established in the memory of Battalion Chief Louis A. Kramer Jr., a dedicated employee of the Baltimore County Fire Department who served his community for over fifteen years. Chief Kramer, a long-time resident of Catonsville, and an alumnus of CCBC Catonsville, began his firefighting career with the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Company. He quickly rose through the ranks to become a Battalion Chief in April 1987.

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Catonsville campus with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. *Applicant must be either a career or volunteer firefighter.* Preference will be given to a career or volunteer Baltimore County firefighter.

Madeline E. Cook Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA. Applicant must be enrolled in an Arts related curriculum who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Margaret and Thomas Butler Endowed Memorial Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics degree major who is enrolled in 6 or more credits and has a minimum cumulative 2.5 CCBC GPA. Preference will be given to a Baltimore County resident attending the CCBC Catonsville campus enrolled full-time in 12 or more credits.

Margaret Curlett Memorial Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student admitted into the Nursing degree program at the CCBC Catonsville campus with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and submit a recommendation letter.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Margaret Guchemand Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a Music major at the CCBC Essex campus. Eligible applicants may be required to audition for the Music department.

Maria Jiminez Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in Art courses or an Art related major at the CCBC Catonsville campus. Applicant must have completed at least one 3 credit art course. Student must submit a letter of recommendation from a Catonsville art instructor.

Marie S. Hill Nursing Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Marie S. Hill Nursing Scholarship is established to support CCBC students who are enrolled in the CCBC Nursing degree program. Preference given to students who are pursuing nursing as a career change. This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.

Marie Hill was a CCBC nursing student who was 58 years old when she decided to pursue a lifelong dream of becoming a registered nurse. She enrolled at CCBC Essex in May of 2005, she earned her nursing degree. She retired from Good Samaritan in 2012 and enjoyed her retirement until her passing in November 2020.

Mark McDonagh Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a Maryland resident enrolled in an Associate degree program who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Mary E. Lloyd Nursing Endowment

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student admitted into the Nursing degree program with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a Baltimore County resident and demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Student must be enrolled in 6 or more credits for the award semester(s). The award will pay towards tuition & fees only.

Mary Lou Stromer Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a Nursing student at the CCBC Catonsville campus with a minimum 2.75 GPA entering the second year of the Associate degree program. Student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA or better in first year Nursing courses. Applicant must be a Baltimore County resident who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Maryland Home & Community Care Endowment Fund

This scholarship will be awarded to a Maryland resident enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA. Student must be completing courses towards an Elder Care Certificate or Human Services degree. Applicant must have completed 6 or more credits and demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Maryland Law Enforcement Officers Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student majoring in Criminal Justice who is enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Applicant must be a Maryland resident pursuing a career in law enforcement. Student must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The student must be in good academic standing and provide a written statement about their intent to pursue a career in law enforcement.

Award recipient will be selected by the School of Justice faculty.

McDonald Family Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Applicant must be a member of the CCBC Dance Company.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Essex Performing Arts faculty.

Melba & Meade Cooper Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a second year Nursing student in clinical practice at Franklin Square Hospital. Applicant must be enrolled in 6 or more credits at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to a student who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

This scholarship will be awarded to a first-generation student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Michael Weir Sr. Endowed Scholarship

Established in honor of State Senator Michael Weir Sr. This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits at the CCBC Essex or Dundalk campus with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Applicant must be a Baltimore County resident who resides in the 21221, 21222, 21220, 21237, 21219, or 21052 zip code. Student must be an Environmental Science major or demonstrate an interest in environmental issues. The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) must be submitted to CCBC by the application deadline.

Middle River Aerostructure Systems Engineering Scholarship

The Middle River Aerostructure Systems Engineering Scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 12 or more credits with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Applicant must be pursuing an Associate degree in Engineering who is a Maryland resident. Preference will be given to student who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Student recipient may be eligible for a paid internship at Middle River Aerospace Systems - ST Engineering. Upon graduating from CCBC with an Associate degree the student may be eligible for a transfer scholarship, the student must meet the minimum entry requirements and have been accepted to the Engineering program at a Maryland four-year institution.

Midwig Family Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to a Baltimore County resident who attends the CCBC Essex campus (6 or more credits).

Mildred V. Hoffmeister Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 9 or more credits at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Applicant must be an Allied Health major admitted into a Selective Admissions degree program participating in clinical courses.

Music Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a Music major at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Eligible applicants may be required to audition for the Music department.

Nancy and Jon Smith Scholarship for the Performing Arts

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a Performing Arts student enrolled in 12 or more credits with a minimum 3.0 CCBC GPA. Applicant must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and participate in a hands-on art activity such as a chamber music group, CCBC dance, CCBC Cockpit-in-Court or the Dundalk Community Theatre.

Neall Family Charitable Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a degree seeking student who has completed 12 or more credits at CCBC with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Oliver Laine Endowed Scholarship

Radiology Education Fund

Established by radiologist Dr. Julian Thayer Simmons. This scholarship is awarded to students in at least their first year, second semester (or beyond) of the Radiography degree program, or students actively enrolled in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certificate program with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

This scholarship can only be awarded one time per student.

Ray & Virginia Stone Scholarship Fund

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a resident of the greater Dundalk area who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Richard & Katherine Heacock Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Applicant must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, or Information Technology and demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Richard & Nina Jones Presidential Scholarship

The Richard & Nina Jones Presidential Scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to two students in a program of study relating to Business. The scholarship will be awarded to one Baltimore County resident, and one out-of-county Maryland resident. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and be enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours. Students must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Roy N. Staten Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours with a minimum cumulative 3.25 GPA. Applicant must be a resident of the Dundalk area pursuing an Associate's degree.

Ruth Patterson Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing an English, Mass Communications, Humanities, or Fine & Performing Arts degree at the CCBC Catonsville campus. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA and have completed 12 credits at CCBC. Student must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Sharon Baird Nursing Scholarship

The student(s) must be enrolled in prerequisite Biology courses for the nursing degree program or accepted into the Registered Nursing program. The recipient must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credits and 2.5 CCBC GPA. Applicant must submit a 300-400 word statement detailing why he or she is interested in pursuing a nursing career. Student(s) must demonstrate financial need by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Sherry L. Kellman Endowment Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a dependent of an employee of the Social Security Administration who is attending the CCBC Catonsville campus. Suzanne Harrison Grimes Teacher Education Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 2.6 GPA. Student must have a declared Education major. All eligible applicants will be contacted to complete a 500 word essay on an assigned topic to complete their application.

Suzanne M. Honeycutt Memorial Scholarship

Established in memory of Suzanne M. Honeycutt for students from the Dundalk area. This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits at the CCBC Dundalk campus with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Tanya Jones Scholarship Fund

Recipient must be enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 2.5 CCBC GPA. Applicant must demonstrate financial need by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The student must have participated in some level of community service and should write a 250-300 word essay sharing how this scholarship will impact their educational goals. Preference will be given to a student enrolled at the Dundalk campus.

Teddie Welsh Performing Arts Endowed Scholarship

The Teddie Welsh Performing Arts Endowed Scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Applicant must be degree seeking with a concentration in Theatre, Theatre/Performance-Acting, or Theatre/Technical Design and Production. Preference will be given to Baltimore County resident demonstrating financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Recipient will be chosen by the Performing Arts Academic Leadership Council.

The Adam and Alex Copinger Scholarship

The Adam M. and Alex J. Copinger Scholarship will award two scholarships each academic year. One scholarship will be awarded to a member of a CCBC athletic team meeting all NJCAA requirements. The recipient must have a minimum 2.5 GPA at CCBC and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits. An additional scholarship will also be awarded to a CCBC student who is a member of the CCBC Honors Program. The recipient must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits and meet all requirements of the CCBC Honors Program.

The Dick and Carol Ann Hopp Memorial Scholarship Fund

This scholarship will be awarded to a first generation college student who is enrolled in 6 or more credits in an Engineering or STEM related program with a minimum cumulative 2.5 CCBC GPA. Applicant must have 12 or more completed credits at CCBC, and demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

The Dr. Victor I. Sorgen Veterinary Technician Scholarship

The Maryland Veterinary Foundation grants educational scholarships to deserving Maryland residents pursuing all levels of veterinary medical education. The Dr. Victor I. Sorgen Veterinary Technician Scholarship was created specifically for Maryland residents enrolled in the Veterinary Technology program at CCBC.

The Horticultural Society of Maryland, Inc. Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in the Horticulture degree or certificate program. Applicant must have completed 6 or more credits at CCBC with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Student must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Horticulture program director.

The Joanne Westerman Scholarship for Interpreting Students

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in the Interpreting Preparation Program at CCBC with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicants must be a Maryland resident and demonstrate financial need by filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Applicants must submit an essay sharing why they want to become an interpreter and how they intend to contribute to the Deaf community.

The late Frank G. Messina and the late Esther L. Messina Law Enforcement Career Scholarship

This scholarship has been established by Baltimore County Police Department, retired Colonel Frank G. Messina in memory of his wife, the late Esther L. Esther Messina. During his 28 year tenure with the Baltimore County Police Department, Frank Messina was the Chief of Field Operations. He established this scholarship to enable other dedicated law enforcement professional to continue their education and devote their service to the Baltimore County Police Department.

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at CCBC with a minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA. The applicant must be enrolled in classes leading to a degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement. Applicants will be required to submit a statement detailing their career goals in law enforcement or criminal justice, including their desire to become a Baltimore County Police Officer or Harford County Sheriff's Deputy or why they became a Baltimore County Police Officer or Harford County Sheriff’s Deputy.

The Richard T. McKelvie Memorial Scholarship

The Richard "Dick" McKelvie Memorial Scholarship as established July 20, 2021 after longtime CCBC Dundalk educator Richard T. "Dick" McKelvie passed away. Mr. McKelvie was 78 years old and worked at CCBC for 30 years as a faculty member in the computer technology area.

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a CCBC student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Applicant must be a Computer Programming, Technology, or Data Management major. Preference will be given to a student attending the CCBC Dundalk campus who demonstrates financial need by completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

The Scheper Famly Scholarship

The recipient must be enrolled in 12 or more credits studying a Science Technology, Mathematics and Engineering (STEM) related field (not including healthcare). Applicant must have a CCBC GPA of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate financial need by completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Student must have completed at least 12 credits in STEM. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

The Woman's Club of Catonsville Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 12 or more credits at the CCBC Catonsville campus. Student must have completed at least 30 credits of the declared degree program with a minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA Applicant must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Preference will be given to a Baltimore County resident.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Thomas K. Barrett Applied Technology Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to an Engineering Technology or Computer-Aided Design major enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum cumulative 2.75 CCBC GPA. Student must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Preference will be given to a student from the Green Street Academy and/or a first generation student.

Timothy L. White Jr. Scholarship Fund - SHP

The Timothy L. White Jr. Scholarship Fund will be awarded to a degree seeking student who has been admitted into the School of Health Professions. Student must have a minimum cumulative between 2.75 and 4.0 GPA. Applicant must be enrolled in 12 or more credits (or the full-time equivalent) and demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Timothy L. White Jr. Scholarship Fund - STEM

The Timothy L. White Jr. Scholarship Fund will be awarded to a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics degree seeking student with a minimum cumulative between 2.75 and 4.0 GPA. This scholarship will be awarded to a student who is enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Catonsville campus with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and Maryland resident.

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum 2.5 GPA. This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Wakefield Family Endowed Scholarship

Established by Donald & Darlene Wakefield to assist students attending the CCBC Essex or CCBC Dundalk campus. Preference will be given to student who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and is a head of household with dependent children.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Wakefield Family Scholarship

Established by Donald & Darlene Wakefield to assist students attending the CCBC Essex or CCBC Dundalk campus. This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applicant must have completed 12 or more credits at CCBC. Preference will be given to student who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and is a head of household with dependent children.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Walter Kwarta Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student at the CCBC Essex campus who has a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA, and is enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours for the award semester. Preference will be given to student who demonstrates financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Wes Blackmon Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in 12 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Essex campus with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Applicant must be in good academic standing with the college.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

Western School Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a new CCBC student enrolled at the Catonsville campus who is a recent graduate of the Western School of Technology. All applicants must be enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.

William "Billy" A. Fialkowski Jr. Endowed Memorial Scholarship for Mortuary Science

This scholarship will be awarded to a student admitted into the Mortuary Science degree program with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Students must have completed Mortuary Science 101 with a C or better, and be enrolled in 9 or more credits at the CCBC Catonsville campus. Applicants must be a Maryland resident and demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

The awarded student must attend the spring Mortician continuing education seminar to be publicly recognized and network with morticians.

Award recipient will be selected by the program director of the Mortuary Science program.

Wilson Point Women's Club Endowed Scholarship Fund

This scholarship will be awarded to a student currently enrolled in 6 or more credits with a minimum 2.5 CCBC GPA. Applicant must reside in the Middle River, Baltimore County area of zip code 21220, Student must demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Award recipient will be selected by the Wilson Point Women's Club Endowed Scholarship Fund committee.

Women in Philanthropy Endowed Scholarship Fund

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year. Applicant must have completed 30 or more credits at CCBC toward a professional certificate or Associate's degree. Student must be enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Student must demonstrate a commitment to learning through an inspiring, well-written statement of educational and career goals. An essay and letter of recommendation are required.

The committee of the Women in Philanthropy Association will select the award recipients.

Women's Traffic and Transportation Club of Baltimore Scholarship

The Women's Traffic and Transportation Club (WTTC) of Baltimore Scholarship is awarded to students who are interested in the field of logistics and transportation, and who have demonstrated commitment to their education and community. Applicants must be enrolled in at least 3 credit/billable hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. Preference will be given to Maryland residents.

Award recipient will be selected by the program director of transportation and logistics.
